NATIONALLY RECOGNISED

There are several black belts within the Kent Karate Schools, all are fully qualified, nationally registered black belts and are listed on the NAKMAS National Register of Qualified Black Belts. Click here to view the official Register.

All black belts within the Kent Karate Schools have undergone strict black belt examination/grading by the NAKMAS National Governing Body Grading Panel. All examinations/gradings for black belt level are not club black belts, i.e not awarded by the club or assessed by any of the Kent Karate Schools black belts. They are all national black belts and examinations are conducted by an independent examination panel led by the chief black belt examiner, Peter Manning 6th Dan Black Belt (shihan/master level), who is the Chair of the NAKMAS National Technical Committee. Peter himself is registered on the NAKMAS National Register of Qualified Black Belts. Additionally, the chief examiner also sits on the NAKMAS National Management Committee.

All black belts within with Kent Karate Schools hold nationally recognised and certificated coaching awards to the standard of the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
